The War for Resources in Space is Hell

A Galaxy Divided

The Kreon Expanse is a galaxy teetering on the edge of chaos. Two factions, born from parallel universes and eerily similar in appearance, engage in a relentless war. The Nova Syndicate, champions of innovation and progress, face off against the Iron Coalition, a bastion of strength, tradition, and order. While these factions share the same human ancestry, their ideologies and ways of life are irreconcilably different.

Fueling this galaxy-wide conflict are four core resources, each vital to survival, advancement, and power:

  • Obscurian: A basic but essential mineral found in safe zones, used for early-game repairs and crafting.

  • Crelyte: A refined resource at the heart of technological progress—required for ship upgrades, crafting, and faction war efforts.

  • Telemetry: Gathered through combat, this data-rich resource powers advanced weapon upgrades and AI-driven tech.

  • Oblivion Cores: The rarest and most sought-after resource in the Kreon Expanse. Found only within dangerous Rifts, these cores are essential for late-game progression and unlocking elite ship traits. Their scarcity makes them the true prize of galactic conflict.

In the Kreon Expanse, survival is a test of cunning, loyalty, and determination. This is a universe where space is hell—and only the strongest will endure.

The Factions of the Kreon Expanse

The Iron Coalition: Strength in Unity

Forged in a universe where survival demanded discipline and unity, the Iron Coalition views the war as a sacred duty. To them, Crelyte and Telemetry are not just materials—they are lifelines for order and civilization.

  • Philosophy: Strength through discipline, tradition, and resilience.

  • Technology: Ships and weapons built for durability and overwhelming firepower.

  • Motivation: Preserve order, suppress chaos, and resist the Syndicate’s destabilizing ambitions.

The Coalition’s society is composed of races from across their native systems, unified under a single cause. Each culture adds strength to their iron-willed war machine.

The Nova Syndicate: Innovation Through Chaos

Rising from a universe of chaos and opportunity, the Nova Syndicate thrives on creativity and technological advancement. They view the war as necessary to tear down old systems and forge a new path for humanity.

  • Philosophy: Progress, adaptation, and innovation are humanity’s ultimate pursuits.

  • Technology: Agile, high-precision ships designed for speed and disruptive warfare.

  • Motivation: Overthrow the Coalition’s stagnant rule and usher in a future of boundless potential.

The Syndicate’s forces draw from a vast array of species and disciplines, making them unpredictable, versatile, and bold.

The Resource War

At the core of the Kreon Expanse’s conflict lies a battle not just of ideology, but of resources—each critical to power, survival, and domination.

  • Obscurian: Abundant in safe zones, Obscurian supports early-game repairs and low-tier upgrades, giving new pilots a foothold in the galaxy.

  • Crelyte: Mined in contested systems and vital for upgrading ships and expanding influence. Crelyte defines the mid-game economy and fuels faction treasuries.

  • Telemetry: Earned through defeating enemies, especially in combat zones. Telemetry is needed to upgrade weapons and specialized systems, rewarding active engagement in battle.

  • Oblivion Cores: The ultimate prize—found only in high-risk Rifts. These volatile, high-density fragments power elite ship traits and late-game advancement. Controlling Rifts means controlling the future.

Treasury Wars and System Control

Victory in the Kreon Expanse isn’t just won in space—it’s won through resource dominance and tactical control.

Faction Treasuries Players contribute Crelyte and Telemetry to their faction’s treasury to unlock faction-wide buffs, resource multipliers, and crafting bonuses. At the end of each season, the winning faction receives a redistribution bonus, while a portion of the treasury is permanently burned—creating long-term scarcity and deepening the war’s stakes.

System Tiers

  • Tier 1 (Safe Zones): Ideal for new pilots; rich in Obscurian, low combat risk, minimal PvP.

  • Tier 2 (Contested Zones): Rich in Crelyte and Telemetry; PvE and PvP threats escalate.

  • Tier 3 (PvP Warzones): High risk, high reward. Rift events appear here—your only chance to claim Oblivion Cores.

  • Rifts: Time-limited anomalies where elite enemies spawn and Oblivion Cores drop. Entire guilds and factions fight over these rare windows of opportunity.

Station Ownership Stations serve as critical faction hubs for upgrading, trading, and respawning. Losing control of a station forces strategic repositioning and weakens your faction's presence in a region.

The Pilots of Space is Hell

Each faction’s pilots are forged by their worldview:

  • Nova Syndicate Pilots: Nimble, inventive, and unpredictable. They master hit-and-run tactics, advanced modules, and unconventional warfare.

  • Iron Coalition Pilots: Resilient, powerful, and unyielding. These warriors excel in sustained engagements and shield-wall strategies.

Players can specialize their ships through modular upgrades, choosing to focus on raw power, evasive speed, or energy efficiency—depending on their chosen faction and playstyle.

The Kreon Expanse: A Galaxy in Turmoil

The galaxy breathes chaos. Systems shift, alliances fracture, and resources grow scarcer by the day. With Oblivion Cores becoming the center of galactic ambition, factions escalate their efforts to control Rifts, even as they bleed Crelyte and Telemetry in the process.

Whether you're mining Obscurian in a safe zone, launching a Crelyte-hauling convoy through contested territory, or leading your squad into a Rift to secure an Oblivion Core, every action matters. Every kill. Every upgrade. Every contribution to the treasury tips the scales.

Welcome to the Kreon Expanse—where space is hell, and only the most ruthless survive.
