Guild System

Overview of the Guild System

The Guild System is a crucial feature of the game, designed to foster collaboration, competition, and community-building within the universe. Players will be able to create and manage guilds, engage in faction warfare, and pool resources to strengthen their positions within the game. The system is deeply integrated with the in-game economy, using HELLX as a primary currency for guild creation and management, along with resources like Crelyte and Telemetry to fuel various activities and upgrades.

Guild Creation

To create a guild, a player must spend 100 HELLX or a designated amount of Crelyte, depending on the game’s economy balance. The guild creator will then be tasked with choosing a unique guild name, which will be displayed for all members and other players to see. The process of guild creation is designed to be straightforward, giving players an easy way to form groups that suit their playstyle and objectives.

Guild Membership

Once a guild is created, players can join through two primary methods. They can either request to join available guilds or be invited directly by a guild leader or officer. Guild leaders have the authority to send out invites, while players can view a list of available guilds and send requests to join. Initially, guilds will have a default membership cap of 20 players. However, this cap can be increased through spending HELLX, allowing guilds to grow and accommodate more members as they progress.

Guild Permissions and Management

Guild management is structured around a simple rank system consisting of three levels: Guild Leader, Officer, and Member. Each rank has different levels of control and responsibility:

  • Guild Leader: The highest authority, able to manage all guild settings, permissions, and player invites.

  • Officers: Trusted members who assist with managing the guild. They can invite players, approve membership requests, and handle the guild’s inventory.

  • Members: Standard players who have access to guild benefits but lack administrative powers.

This hierarchical system allows for smooth management of guild activities, with each rank having a clear set of responsibilities. Only Guild Leaders and Officers have the authority to deposit or withdraw resources from the guild’s shared inventory, ensuring that the resources are used appropriately for guild-wide benefits.

Guild Inventory and Resources

The Guild Inventory serves as the collective storage for Crelyte and Telemetry, two vital resources in the game. The inventory allows guilds to pool resources for various activities, such as contributing to faction warfare or supporting large-scale guild projects. Only Guild Leaders and Officers can withdraw resources, which helps maintain control over the guild’s supplies and ensures that they are being used strategically.

The guild’s inventory starts with a basic storage capacity, such as 10 slots or a limit on the amount of Crelyte and Telemetry. However, this capacity can be expanded by spending HELLX, allowing guilds to increase their storage space as they grow in size and importance.

Faction Warfare and Guild Contributions

Guilds play a pivotal role in the game’s faction warfare system, where they can contribute resources to a faction’s treasury. These contributions are tracked on leaderboards, providing guilds with visibility and a sense of accomplishment as they participate in capturing and defending faction systems. Contributing resources, such as Crelyte and Telemetry, will be essential for guilds to earn faction rewards and maintain their standing in the larger game world. Guilds that actively participate in faction warfare will also earn bonuses, giving them a competitive edge.

Guild UI Features

The guild system is supported by a comprehensive Guild Dashboard that displays important information to guild members. The dashboard includes the following features:

  • A list of guild members, including their rank and online status.

  • An overview of the current guild inventory, showing the amount of Crelyte and Telemetry available.

  • Total faction contributions made by the guild, showing how the guild is progressing in faction warfare.

  • Guild leaderboard standings, giving players a way to track their progress relative to other guilds.

  • A Join/Search Guilds function, allowing players to search for guilds based on criteria such as faction affiliation, activity level (PvP-focused, mining-focused, or balanced), and member count.

These features ensure that guilds are well-organized and that members can easily access and manage important guild-related information.

Optional Features: Guild Chat and Achievements

To further foster community, the guild system includes optional features like guild chat, a private channel for guild members to communicate. This chat channel helps with coordination during faction missions, PvP battles, and general guild activities. Additionally, guild achievements can be awarded for reaching milestones, such as contributing a certain amount of Crelyte or winning PvP victories. These achievements provide guilds with recognition and a sense of accomplishment as they progress.

Summary

The Guild System is a central feature of the game, offering players a way to create, manage, and grow guilds. It integrates with the game’s economy and faction systems, allowing guilds to pool resources for collective goals and gain visibility on leaderboards. Through the use of HELLX, guild leaders and officers can manage memberships, inventories, and upgrades, while fostering a sense of community and collaboration. The addition of optional features like guild chat and achievements enhances the overall player experience, making guilds a vital part of the game's social and competitive structure.
